Hotel Villa Ducale is a Venetian villa located along the Brenta River between Padua and Venice. In 1884, Count Giulio Rocca, a Venetian nobleman, built a beautiful manor house along the Brenta River, on the vestiges of an older 18th century building.
HOSPITALITY
The bus stop, front of the house, permits to reach the nearby cities of Venice and Padua. The Villa has a private landing pier for boats travelling along the River Brenta to reach Stra or Venice. PARK The hotel is immersed in an oasis of peace thanks to the beautiful centuries-old park with statues and hedges and native vegetation with flowers and trees. A walk in the park leads to the old stables used in ancient times as stalls for horses and accommodation. For those who love jogging, the villa offers paths along the tree-lined avenues of the park that lead to the historic 18th century chapel and the two fountains. VILLA DUCALE The Villa has been restored and refurbished over the years, and a patient work has brought it to its ancient splendour. The Venetian terrazzo floors, the precious chandeliers and mirrors in Murano glass, the frescoes and the stuccoes, chase each other in every room and throughout the Villa.
THE HALLS OF THE FEASTS
The Villa is equipped with the Salone delle Feste, which can accommodate up to 200 people for banquets, meetings and events and a room called Naviglio suitable for more reserved meetings. Two elegant lounges in the lobby with fireplace are available for moments of break, reading and convivial reunion. Amazing sunsets from the Villa and the park!
THE RESTAURANT
The Sala delle Due Colonne houses the restaurant of Villa Ducale where the buffet breakfast is also served.
